AG’s Holiday Release! ~My Thoughts~

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Yes, of course I know it’s only October, and most people are not saying “Merry Christmas” yet, but AG has already released it’s Christmas collection for this year, so I can’t help but say “Merry Christmas”! Anyways, this post is about my thoughts on AG’s Holiday release! So, let’s first start with this year’s Holiday outfits!

So instead of just releasing one or two holiday outfits like in previous years, AG decided to release Six holiday outfits this year! Each of these outfits are for holidays from different cultures, which I think is really cool!

Pretty Plaid Christmas Dress

Price: $36

First we have the Christmas dress, which I think is super cute! I love the plaid dress, with that cute little sparkly belt! The little purse was a cute touch and I love how it has a strap so the dolls can actually hold it. I think the boots are super adorable and that tiara is sooooooo pretty! I am definitely going to have to get this outfit for my dolls before it sells out!

Hanukkah Celebration Outfit

Price: $36

I Love this outfit! I like how well all the blue and silver go together! I think the little headband is really cute and goes really nicely with the outfit. I really like how it looks like they used velvet for the dress! The shoes look really sparkly and pretty, but I just hope it’s not where the glitter can be rubbed off, like with the shoes from an older holiday outfit I got last year. The big bow around the dress looks almost looks a little too big, but I think it just makes the dress look even cuter! I think the necklace is really cute as well.

Kwanzaa Celebration Outfit

Price: $35

Honestly, I’m really not a big fan of this outfit. It’s kind of plain and boring looking if you ask me. But it does look a little cute. It looks like the dress was sewn with really good quality fabric. The shoes are just plain black sandals, but they go well with the outfit. I don’t really know anything about Kwanzaa, so I’m not really sure what the candles and the little cup and small mat are for. I like how they added the cute headband to the outfit. I think that was a really nice touch.

Diwali Celebration Outfit

Price: $45

I don’t really care much for this outfit either, but I do really like all the pink and gold in it! But what I want to know, is why this outfit cost $45, while all of the other holiday outfits cost $35. It doesn’t look super special or anything compered to the other outfits. Maybe it’s because of it coming with the little earing stickers or something? I personally don’t really feel like this outfit is worth $45. I think it should’ve been priced the same as the other holiday outfits.

Eid al-Fitr Celebration Outfit

Price: $35

Now this outfit sure has a lot of color! I like how well the pink hijab and the blue dress go together. The little doll sized envelope is pretty cute, and it comes with five pretend little one-dollar bills inside! I don’t really have much more to say about this outfit, besides that I think the dress is really cute!

Lunar New Year’s Celebration Outfit

Price: $35

This outfit is seriously so cute! I love the designs on the dress and the cute little gold shoes! I really like how puffy and fun looking the dress skirt is! Just like the Eid al-Fitr outfit, this outfit comes with a small doll sized envelope with five little one-dollar bills. I think the little hair clip is pretty cute. I really like how all of the holiday outfits come with super cute accessories!

Hearts and Pines Holiday PJs

Price: $24

Honestly, I kind of feel like this year’s Christmas PJs, are pretty plain compered to previous years. The Santa hat is cute though! I don’t really like how the little slippers look like they were just made with really cheap materiel though. I’m not personally a big fan of this outfit. But I do have to admit that it’s still pretty cute!

Elf on The Shelf set for Dolls

Price: $15

Awwwww! Look at this cute little Elf on The Shelf set! The little elf looks so cute and I think it’s neat how they include a box to keep it in! The box looks just like the boxes that an Elf on The Shelf from the store would look like, which I think is pretty cool!

2021 Winter Princess Collector Dolls

Price: $250 each

I loooooovee these dolls! They’re both soooooo pretty! But they’re also pretty expensive too! But they do have real Swarovski crystals on their dresses, and they’re limited edition dolls, so it makes since. AG didn’t announce how many they made of these dolls, unlike they did in the past, but I was able to find out that they only made 13,000 each of both of these dolls!

Winter Princess Ornament

Price: $20

They also made a cute little winter princess ornament! She looks almost exactly like the Winter Princess doll on the left hand side above. I personally am not interested in buying this ornament, but I am pretty interested in the Winter Princess Dolls above.

A Dozen Delicious Days Countdown Set

Price: $50

Now this is something that AG’s been doing for the past few years: Making a Countdown to Christmas set! This year’s set is a baking theme one, and comes with a ton of cute baking supplies! (scroll through the pictures above to see what it comes with.) I really like the cookie cutters and and the cookies! The apron and matching oven mitt are pretty cute too! Personally, I think that $50 is a ridiculously high price for this set. I don’t think it’s worth that much at all! I think it’s worth more like $25.

Well, that’s it for my thoughts on AG’s Christmas release! Hope you all enjoyed it! What item is your favorite? Mine is either the Christmas or Hanukkah dress!
