AG One-Of-A-Kind Historical Dolls!

Do you guys remember the leaked photo that I shared a few post ago, of a bag with a picture of historical characters wearing modern outfits on it? Well, that very bag is now for sale on AG’s website! Here are some photos of it:

Isn’t this bag cute? I would love to get one of these! The bag is being sold for $30, which seems like a pretty reasonable price if you ask me.

Look at the outfits the girls are wearing! Aren’t they pretty? AG partnered with a fashion designer named Carly Cushnie to create this bag, and I think that she did a great job designing these outfits! And guess what? AG has decided to create an actual doll of each original historical character wearing their modern day outfits! Only one of each of these dolls have been made, and they will all be auctioned off separately on eBay!

Here is Felicity! I Love her outfit! That dress is soooooo cute on her! And her little flower crown and sandals are adorbs! I love the little pom-poms on her shoes, and her little pearl necklace was a really nice touch! Her hair looks really pretty when it’s down too. All of these dolls’ outfits were inspired by each of their stories and character. With Felicity, her outfit was inspired by her independent streak and love of nature.

I really like Molly’s outfit! It looks really fun, and her hair looks super cute when it’s all up in one big ponytail braid! The scrunchie and sunglasses were a really nice touch. Her bag looks just like the one that came with her original accessories, which I think is a nice nod to Molly’s original outfit. The shoes are just plain white, but they go really well with the outfit. I really like how patriotic her outfit looks, with all the red, white, and blue! Molly’s outfit was inspired by her love of performance and busy life on the home-front.

Wow, Josefina looks so pretty in this outfit! That bright splash of color looks super nice on her! I love the ruffles at the top of the jumper, and that little gold necklace is adorbs! I love those brown sandals! They go so well with her outfit! I love how pretty Josefina’s hair looks! I think it was really nice how they still gave Josefina her cute little gold hoop earrings! I think that was a super nice touch to her outfit, and also a nice nod to her original one! Josefina’s outfit was inspired by her original outfit that met the daily demands on the rancho.

I love how pretty Addy looks with her hair down like that! And her dress is super cute! I think that the necklace that she’s wearing looks really cute on her, and was a really nice touch to her outfit! Her shoes look pretty much exactly like Molly’s, but they do go really well with her outfit! I like how Addy’s pink dress is a nice nod to her original outfit. Addy’s outfit was inspired by her love of family her treasured patchwork quilt.

Isn’t Kirsten’s outfit pretty? So far, I think it’s my favorite one! I love all the blue and gingham! That dress is so cute! I love the puff sleeves! I think that it was really cool how they added the amber necklace from her original accessories! Her boots are pretty plain, but super cute! Kirsten’s hair is so pretty down, and that hat looks so cute on her! Kirsten’s outfit was inspired by her Swedish heritage and pioneer spirit.

I love Samantha’s outfit! I really like how her blouse is really plain and how cute the puff sleeves are! Since the blouse is really plain in color, it really allows the bright colors in the skirt to pop, making it really pretty! The sandals are cute, but kind of plain. They do go really well with the outfit though! I love how pretty the headband is, and the necklace goes really well with the outfit! Samantha’s outfit was inspired by her kind heart, generous nature, and small rebellious streak.

As I said, all six of these dolls are being auctioned off on eBay. They all originally started at $300, but have all gone over $1000!

Here are where the bidding is right now for each of the dolls:

Felicity: $1,200

Molly: $2,150

Josefina: $1,175

Addy: $1,200

Kirsten: $1,250

Samantha: $2,050

That’s a lot of money, huh? I personally would love to bid on Samantha, or Kirsten, but I don’t really have thousands of dollars laying around to spend on dolls.😄 But if any of you guys do, than click here to go check out the dolls! If you are interested in bidding on any of these dolls, then you’d better hurry! The auction will be ending at 5:30 today, which is less than two hours away! I wanted going to post about this several days ago when the auction first started, but I was out of town at the time, so I didn’t have my laptop. But I’m posting about it now, to make sure you all know about it!

Hope you all enjoyed this post! Which Historical doll is your favorite? Mine would probably be either Samantha, or Kirsten.
